Christmas GivingThe program is specifically designed so that a significant percentage of the proceeds go to Rotary. Featuring a selection of Fair Trade Certified and organic coffees, this program will provide revenue for your local Rotary Club, Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation's Clean Water for Coffee Growing Countries Donor Advised Fund.
This is an opportunity for clubs to have an adult "Cookie Sale" program that can be used year round; or once a year; or for a special purpose like helping Rotary match the $355 million in challenge grants from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for Polio Plus.
Working together, we can make a difference in providing clean water. In the last year, Five for Water Foundation, Inc. via its Donor Advised Fund at The Rotary Foundation has successfully funded seven projects in seven countries including Tanzania, Uganda, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Bolivia and Malawi.
It is estimated that 1.1 billion people do not have access to clean water; 30,000 people per day die due to water related illnesses; and 90% of them are children less than five years old.
